End of July Update. I have been neglectful in posting this year, having started another site influenced by my numerous kayak trips. July, as well as the rest of the months this year have been exceptionally wet. The weather pattern seems to be normal now with thunderstorms arriving almost every afternoon, and evening. The water level of Gillis Pond is well over 8′ higher than this time last year and our lakeside bar Tranquilla Breeze is now at least 1″ underwater!
